Infection Fighting Properties
Whoever thought we could use the word beautiful to describe hand sanitiser? Once you try these you will understand why. Most “new” hand sanitiser utilises cheap Isopropyl alcohol and water. Little else! Cheap and nasty indeed. Some have a thickener added to make a goopy gel or even glycerine.
QD sanitiser uses perfume grade ethanol. Add to that de-ionised water not the tap variety. This is at 70% by volume. It is well known that this is what is required to fight germs. However this sanitiser also contains Chlorhexidine as used by surgeons and health workers. Chlorhexidine kills bacteria and virus on contact. Strong yet non harmful.
Skin Moisturising Benefits
Our sanitiser contains some 21st Century “tech” Glycereth-26. This a nice glycerin-based humectant and emollient that gives skin a smooth and luxurious feel. It works well in alcohol and will not leave your skin feeling oily or greasy.

Heck it deserves it! All these months of smelly hand sanitiser. It is enough we say! One of the great myths of the latest pandemic is that hand sanitiser must smell like raw alcohol. There sadly is a belief that this must be or the sanitiser is to weak. That is simply not true. Smelly alcohol is cheap that is why it hurts your nose.
Most people are unaware that the finest perfume is made with alcohol. Not a little bit but rather a very high concentration. With that in mind we at QD started wondering why the two cannot be combined? We discovered that there is no reason! So we use only perfume quality alcohol. This is perfect for high quality perfume scents! So now you can smell your coffee and sanitise with it too!!!
