What is PM2.5?

These are tiny particles of atmospheric particulate matter (PM) that have a diameter of less than 2.5 micrometers, which is about 3% the diameter of a human hair. Due to the fact that they are extremely tiny, for example bacteria, they do tend to stay longer in the air than heavier particles. This increases the chances of humans and animals inhaling them into the bodies. Unfortunately as they are so minute they are able to bypass the nose and throat and get deep into the lungs, some may even enter the circulatory system.

Studies have found a close link between exposure to fine particles likewise premature death from heart and lung disease may well result from breathing in PM2.5. These PM2.5 particles are also known to set off  or make worse chronic disease such as asthma, heart attack, bronchitis and other respiratory issues.

How Do These Filters Protect?

Once correctly installed these filters prevent these small particles entering our lungs. Thanks to five layers of protection, including an activated charcoal layer for example, the filters really do work. This has been studied and proved. How To Replace PM2.5 filter

Replacing the filters is really easy and can above all be done by yourself without any difficulty.

Firstly make sure the old filter is removed. However if this is the first time you are using the Replacement Filter PM2.5, ignore this step.

Secondly remove 1 filter from the plastic pack. (there are 2 per pack)

Thirdly slide the new filter into the mask as is shown in the above image.

You done! Mask is ready to be used again.
